Sealed Edging
Are your PVC or PU belts constantly fraying on the edges, causing the belt material to contaminate your food product? Then Sealed Edge belting could be your answer…
Sealed edging is a hygienic secondary process performed to food grade belting. The procedure involves protecting the edges of PVC and PU belting with a homogenous material thermally fused to the edges of the belt. This process creates NO fraying on the belt edges which eliminates product contamination. This process has enabled Brendma to solve many hygienic issues raised in the food industry. All of our tooling to allow for sealed edge belts is located in our Sydney branch.
Already a compulsory requirement in parts of Europe and USA, Sealed edge belts are the way of the future in the food industry worldwide.
