Bakeries and other related industries such as biscuit, pizza, pies, and puff pastry production have always been a demanding and difficult industry to troubleshoot due to the different variations of dough produced. These belts have important qualities such as:

 

  • Grease/oil/butter/chemical resistant

  • Belts capable on working on knife edges/fixed bars without join failure

  • Different textures to improve dough release

  • Special polyurethane weaves and backings to help prevent shrinkage

  • Antimicrobial and antistatic qualities

  • Most Derco belts can be completed with sealed edges (please look at the ‘sealed edging’ page on this website for further information)

  • Volta belts are a ply-free non-fraying option

  • High temperature resistance
